Rose (Cel) Simmons, age 98, of Faribault, died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Faribault.      Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church at Sacred Heart in Faribault. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault.      Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday for one hour prior to the services at the church. Parish prayers will be held on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.      Rose Cecelia Forcelle, the daughter of Louis and Delphine (Caron) Forcelle, was born on May 8, 1910 in Shieldsville Township, Rice County, MN. She was married to Frank Simmons on January 25, 1927. He preceded her in death on August 17, 1977. Rose was a homemaker for much of her life and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing cards, embroidering, and crocheting.      She is survived by two children, Robert (Elaine) Simmons and Shirley DeCoux, both of Faribault; 12 grandchildren, Tom (Carla) Southworth, Pam Southworth, Ronald (Sandy ) DeCoux, Roger (Francis) DeCoux, Larry (Nancy) DeCoux, Clifford Johnson, William (Donna) Simmons, Steven (Gaylene) Simmons, Diana (Tom) Berentson, David Simmons, Kathy (Eric) Gambill, and Barbara (Kirk) Alford; 23 great grandchildren; 34 great great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Elsie Forcelle of Baxter, MN, and Josephine Forcelle of Austin, MN; and many other relatives and friends.      She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Mary Louise (and Kenneth) Southworth; two granddaughters, Karen Johnson and Jane DeCoux; grandson, Bruce DeCoux; great grandson, Robby Simmons; great granddaughter, Susie Simmons; two sisters, Louise Anderson and Genevieve LeMieux; and three brothers, Ernest, Emery, and Philip Forcelle.      Memorials may be directed to the Faribault Area Hospice, Divine Mercy Catholic Church, or the choice of the donor.
