Roselyn A. Becker, age 86 of Faribault, MN passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Three Links Care Center in Northfield, MN.
Roselyn Agnes, the daughter of Ambrose and Ruth (Schmitz) Gillen, was born on July 23, 1939 in Faribault, MN. Roselyn grew up in Faribault and graduated from Bethlehem Academy with the Class of 1957. Roselyn married Kenneth Becker on August 30, 1958 at St. Lawrence Church in Faribault, MN. She worked for Finger Drapery, Faribault Woolen Mill, and helped on the farm with chores, especially with the calves. Roselyn was co-owner of Rose Petal Gifts and Crafts. Roselyn enjoyed doing crafts, quilting, sewing, and painting. While she wasn’t working, she also enjoyed playing cards, caring for her flowers, spending time with her family and friends, and attending her grandchildren’s activities. She was active in 4H with her children and helping with funeral lunches at Divine Mercy with the CCW.
Roselyn is survived by her children, Debra (Steven) Wille, Timothy (Wendy) Becker, and Edward (Jill) Becker; grandchildren, Sarah (Steve) Becher, Jenny (Hayes) Scriven, Ryan (Becky) Becker, Cory Becker, Caleb (Crystal) Becker, Abby Smith, Sara (Cole) Jansen, Ashley Becker (Chris Knapp), Mathew (Hayley) Becker, and Melanie Becker (Jon Kanzenbach); 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clement (Karma) Gillen, Arnold (Sharon) Gillen, and Mark (Debbie) Gillen; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ken.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault with Father Cory Rohlfing officiating. Interment will be at St. Lawrence Cemtery.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the church prior to Mass.
Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory.
