Ruby R. Osborne, age 89 of Faribault, MN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Heritage House Senior Living in Faribault following an extended illness.
Ruby Ruth, the daughter of Clarence and Alvina (Peters) Beckstrom was born on June 15, 1937 in Oden, MN. She was raised on her family farm and attended school in St. James, MN. She was united in marriage to Dale Osborne. After their marriage they moved to St. James, MN and later to Faribault, MN. Ruby worked for 25 years at Dr. Robert Meyer’s office. Later she worked for 20 years in medical records for Mayo Clinic in Faribault. Ruby was a lifetime member of the District One Hospital Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary. For many years she enjoyed bowling.
Ruby is survived by her children, Lorie Glende of Faribault, MN, Craig (Debi) Osborne of Faribault, MN and Wade Osborne of Morristown, MN; by four grandchildren, Molly (Jacob) Denison, Jeffrey (Destiny) Anderst, Danielle Anderst (Chris Walters) and DeeAnne Simmons; by great grandchildren, Jourdan (Matt) Sterling, Brooke Anderst and Journey (Skyler) Parsons; by great great grandchildren, Eleanor Anderst, Clifford Sterling, Birdie Sterling, Leonard Baalson and Colter Parsons and other relatives and friends.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, father of their children, Dale Osborne, son Christopher Osborne, sister, Betty Hintze, brother, LeRoy Beckstrom, son-in-law, Doug Glende and grandson-in-law, Chase Simmons.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault on Monday, July 6, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Following the visitation there will be a procession to Calvary Cemetery in Faribault for the interment.
