Silvia B. Whitcomb

Silvia B. Whitcomb, age 62, of Shieldsville, MN, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

Silvia Beatriz was born on March 6, 1962, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the daughter of Gerardo and Cristina (Rodriguez) Flores. She was united in marriage to Patrick Whitcomb on August 20, 1983, in California. They moved back to the Faribault area and Silvia first worked for The DePot Bar & Grill, then with her husband Pat and their business AAA Mechanical Services, and for the past 8 years was the manager at Lake Country Convenience & Bait in Shieldsville. Silvia enjoyed gardening and music, but most of all loved raising her two children, Cristina and Brandon.

She is survived by her husband, Pat Whitcomb of Shieldsville; children, Cristina Whitcomb, and Brandon Whitcomb (Marlys); stepson, Patrick Whitcomb; sister, Cristina Spahr; and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A service of remembrance will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Avenue N., Faribault. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
