Stanley Hirdler

Stanley J. Hirdler, age 65, of Faribault, MN, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021, following a sudden illness.

Stanley John was born on May 4, 1956, in Northfield, MN, to Henry and Ida (Novotny) Hirdler.  He worked for many years at Jerome Foods in Faribault. Stanley enjoyed working on cars and lawn mowers for others, along with providing a lawn service.  Most of all he had a great love for cats, taking in many over the years and treating them like his own children.

He is survived by siblings, David Hirdler Sr. of Faribault, Mary Jane Wroblewski of Faribault, and Dale Hirdler (Jayne Kukacka) of LeCenter, MN; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ida; brothers, Maynard Hirdler and Francis “Frankie” Hirdler; brother-in-law, Leon Wroblewski; aunt, Marion Pudil (Joe); nephew, Jeffrey Olson; and many aunts, uncles and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault.  A time for sharing will take place on Monday at 10:45 a.m.  Interment will be at the Christdala Cemetery in Millersburg, MN.
