Sylvia Wallin

Sylvia K. Wallin, age 71 of Faribault, MN passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Faribault.

Sylvia Kay was born on June 24, 1949 to Earl and Marcella (Simacek) Wallace.  She worked at Jerome Foods and Faribault Foods for many years.  Sylvia enjoyed watching TV and caring for her daughter’s cat.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Wallin (fiancé Michael); siblings, Dick Wallace (special friend Janice Hanson), Leo (Lisa) Wallace, Raymond Wallace, and Ramona Quast; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Marcella; brother, Carl Wallace; and sister, Sally Gruber.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault with Bernadette Tatge, officiating.  Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.  Memorial visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
