Tanja Washburn

Tanja Washburn, age 55 of Kenyon, MN passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Tanja Maria, the daughter of Marja Helena Wehvilainen, was born on November 22, 1964 in Duluth, MN. She attended Stillwater Area High School. Following high school, Tanja worked in circuit board manufacturing. She lived in the suburbs of Minneapolis before moving to Kenyon in 2010. While she wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending time with her family and with her pets. She also enjoyed working on different crafts.

Tanja is survived by her children, Nitasha Abrego, James LaPoint, and Travis Washburn; 6 grandchildren; brother, Mark (Alice) Washburn; other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Helena Soderberg.
