Todd R. Fierst

Todd R. Fierst, age 55, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away October 3, 2026, at the Ebenezer Care Center in Burnsville, MN, following an extended illness.

Todd Robert, the son of Robert F. and Darlene (Chlan) Fierst, was born on December 21, 1970, in Faribault, MN. He graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1989 and completed his degree in social work at Winona State University in 1994. Todd enjoyed playing guitar and listening to music. He enjoyed the outdoors while hiking or fishing. He loved his dog Gracie and the comfort she provided. Todd was a volunteer with many animal rescue groups. He enjoyed spending time working on the projects that were close to his heart.

He is survived by his father, Robert F. Fierst of Faribault; sister, Beverly Siemers (Mark) of Prior Lake, MN; step-father, Mahlon Duffney Jr. of Montgomery, MN; step-sister, Krista Anderson of Faribault; step-brother, Reid Duffney of Faribault; brother-in-law, Ed Kvestad of Faribault; and by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Duffney on October 2, 2026; and sister, Sandra Kvestad.

Private services and burial at Calvary Cemetery in Faribault will be held at a later date.
