William Nuetzman

William "Bill" Nuetzman, age 80, of Warsaw, MN, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Church of St. Patrick in Shieldsville, MN with Fr. David Barrett, officiating. Interment will be held at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Shieldsville.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and at the church on Friday for one hour prior to services.

William John Nuetzman, the son of Dr. A.W. and Clara (Engebretson) Nuetzman, was born on August 29, 1936 in Faribault, MN. He attended Shattuck and Faribault Senior High School and graduated with the class of 1954. Bill also attended the University of Minnesota for two years. For most of his life, Bill was an independent owner/operator over-the-road truck driver. Bill married Theresa "Terry" Brown and they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage until her passing in 2009. Bill thoroughly enjoyed traveling in the family Winnebago and was a member of the Winnehaha's Camping Club and was a charter member of the Winnebago International Traveler's Club for 42 years. He spent winters in Mission, TX and enjoyed his park model in Pennington, MN on Kitchi Lake during the summer and fall. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and hobby farming with Herford cattle. He spent many hours watching his grandchildren in different activities. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post 84 in Northfield, MN and the Winnebago International Travelers.

He is survived by his five children, Maria (Jerry) Swanson of Faribault, MN, Sophia (Scott) Gustafson of Clearwater, MN, Steven (Peggy) Nuetzman of Morristown, MN, Thomas (Roxanne) Nuetzman of Morristown, MN and John (Dawn) Nuetzman of Warsaw, MN; by 18 grandchildren, Heather Rocha, Jeremy, Josh, Ashley, Michaela and Jarrett Swanson; Erin Welch; Luke and Nicole Nuetzman; Ashley and Ally Nuetzman, Danielle and Jacob Janni; Clara Mary Nuetzman; Zach Anhorn, Brittany Krabbenhoft, Casey and Bobbie Anhorn; by 4 great grandchildren, Jameson Swanson and Mercedez Rocha; Ryker Anhorn; Zoey Anhorn and by cousins and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
