Zeina N. Boutni

Zeina Nawal Boutni, age 60, of Faribault, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at The Emeralds of Faribault Care Center.

Zeina, the daughter of Lahcen Mohamed Boutni and Joyce Joanne (Rowe) Ward, was born August 2, 1965 in LaCrosse, WI. Zeina grew up in LaCrosse, WI. She attended La Crescent High School, La Crescent, MN, where she was a cheerleader for all season athletics and a member of the Pom Pom School Spirit Squad.

Zeina worked in Medford, IA, as a call center supervisor. She was assistant manager and waitress in Okoboji, IA. Zeina traveled with a bungee company out of Orlando, FL, and moved to Faribault, MN, in 1999.

Zeina loved spending time with friends, garage saling, and bingo. Zeina had a heart for others. Her innate ability to connect with empathy and compassion was a blessing.

Zeina is survived by her two sons, Bryce Lahcen Lee Boutni-Brown and Edward Alvin Froman with significant other Lance Christopher Froman, Father, Lahcen Mohamed Boutni, Stepmother, Carol Marie (Instefjord) Boutni, Sisters, Leila (Rodney) Doyel, Jamila R. Boutni-Dozark (Dave) Dozark, Nieces and Nephews, Hannah, Andrew, Joseph, and Zoea Dozark.

She is proceeded in death by her Mother, Joyce Joanne (Rowe) Ward and Stepfather, Ken Ward, grandparents Vera (Asher) Rowe and Francis Eugene Rowe Sr, and uncle, Francis Eugene Rowe Jr.

The wake will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave., N. Faribault, and on Wednesday from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 22, at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Kohl Funeral Home, followed by a luncheon. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault after the luncheon.
