Donald Ryan

Donald J. Ryan, age 87, of Faribault, MN, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019, at the District One Hospital in Faribault.

Don’s request was that there would be no service held.

Donald John, the son of William and Mary (Koreltz) Ryan, was born on September 10, 1931 in Eveleth, MN.  He attended Eveleth High School and graduated with the class of 1949.  Following high school Don went to broadcasting school to become a radio announcer.  He worked for 17 years as an announcer in Canada and then for a short time at KDHL when he moved to Faribault.  Don also worked at various businesses including the Kenyon Leader, Foldcraft Company, the Mattress Factory and the Modern Bar.  In December of 2018 he moved to Gunderson Gardens in Kenyon.

He is survived locally by friends and caregivers, Ralph “Bucky” and Darlene Liverseed of Faribault.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
