Patrick F. “Pat” Rath, age 82 of Faribault, MN passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Central Health Care in LeCenter, MN following an extended illness.

Patrick Floyd, the son of Floyd and Acqunetta (Stencel) Rath was born on February 27, 1939 in Easton, MN.  He attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1957.  Following high school Pat served in the U.S. Army and was later honorably discharged.  After his service time Pat worked as a driver for River Warren Aggregate and later started his own construction company, Rath Construction.  He was united in marriage to Joyce Gillis and they lived in Chaska, MN and later moved to Faribault.  Pat enjoyed reading books, playing cards, fishing and watching football and the Twins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive in Faribault.  Interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.

Memorial visitation will be held at the church on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.
