Roger L. Yeager, the son of Norman and Lillian (Lachowitzer) Yeager was born on October 9, 1944 in East St. Paul, MN. He graduated from Harding High School in St. Paul before joining the U.S. Navy in 1962. After serving two years as a naval airman, Roger suffered an aneurism which caused partial paralysis and was discharged due to disability. After coming home to St. Paul, Roger spent a few years traveling, living temporarily in places such as Nashville, Chicago, and Memphis before ending up back in Minnesota. On March 23, 1973, Roger was united in marriage with Marrianne Davis in Minneapolis, MN. In 1985, following Marrianne’s retirement, they settled in Faribault MN. Roger liked everyone and was liked by everyone. He enjoyed reading, watching movies, and was known for his smile, love for restaurants, and visiting with friends and having coffee. Roger will always be remembered for his fighting spirit he demonstrated throughout his life. His disability never stopped him from leading an active life and dancing to rock and roll with Marrianne.
