Thomas Goodwin

Thomas L. Goodwin, age 80, of Faribault, MN passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Minneapolis.

Interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, assembly area number 6, at 10:30 a.m. on March 2, 2020.

Thomas Lester, son of Harold and Dorothy (Taylor) Goodwin, was born on June 4, 1939 in Minneapolis, MN. Following high school, Thomas joined the U.S. Navy on June 3, 1957 and was honorably discharged on May 13, 1960. Thomas was a member of the Moose Lodge and Elks Club.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Sheri) Goodwin and their children, Heather (P.T.) Haider and Max Goodwin; his daughter, Debra (Jeffrey) Bauernfeind and their children, Jacob Bauernfeind (Ronda Jameson), Zachary (Brianna) Bauernfeind, and Nicholas (Elise Hageman) Bauernfeind, all of Faribault; four great grandchildren; longtime friend, Louise Ludwig and her family; special friends, Michael and Vicki Gravlin; nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Paul Goodwin; sister, Sharon Behrends; and nephew, Scott Ullom.
